1. Hollywood Sign

It’s a classic and a must at least once in your life. Luckily, there a lot of sign viewing options, but there are a few little known sign locations that are pretty rad. If you’re up for a hike, the Hollyridge Trail Hike takes you up the hill that the sign is on and the end of the trail leaves you just above the sign with a fabulous view of Los Angeles. Another option is the Hollywood Reservoir, a nice spot where the sign can be seen while standing on the reservoir bridge. This location also overlooks Los Angeles.

2. Free TV Show tickets

3. The Getty Museum & Villa

If you’re into visiting museums, the Getty is a fabulous choice. Though you have to pay for parking, admission is free. The Getty sits atop a hill in Northern LA and offers a variety of art.

4. Griffith Observatory

Griffith Observatory is a great place to go at night as it is a public monument to astronomy. At this popular stargazing location, you can use various telescopes to look at the sky! The hollywood sign can also be seen from Griffith, but unfortunately the sign is not lit at night.

5. Beverly Hills
