On Tuesday, September 15th, Needham Chapel was bustling with Freshman Class Senator speeches. Early on in the campaigning, a rumor spread about the possibility of some candidates being disqualified, however SGA decided to keep all candidates in the election. Candidates Kaleb Bryant, Samuel Henriquez, Catherine Carrier, Kayla Stenzel, Johnny Rojas, and Tabitha Blessum spoke on why they should be the the freshman class senator.
All of the candidates are enthusiastic to serve the student body and make a difference on campus. Whether that is by fighting for different outtakes hours, adjusting open hours in the Towers, or creating more events for freshman to get involved and feel welcomed. Voting will be held until Wednesday, September 16th, and run-offs will be the following Thursday and Friday. If you are a Freshman, make sure you go to the Bridge on the first floor of Huntington and cast your vote!
