The end of October brings out that time when everyone is looking to dress up and get scared all in the name of tradition. Another great reason for Halloween are free (or cheap) events or food, depending on where you go. While most deals for free or discounted food are for kids, there are a few places still spreading the Halloween joy to adults and teenagers. In and around the Orange County area are so many choices to have fun on Halloween, and here are a few of them:
Food Deals:
OC Food Truck Foodtackular – the OC Fair Foodtruck Fair will still happen on Wednesday as usual, but dress up and trick or treat at the food trucks when you eat some of their really good food!
Chipotle – Dress up on Halloween and you can buy a burrito for only $3 dollars from 4pm to closing.
Krispy Kreme – Dress up on Halloween and receive a free doughnut!
Halloween-themed Events:
Cypress Halloween Carnival – Admission is $3 and you can get professional pictures taken for only $10, along with carnival games and food. Carnival is 6-9pm at the Cypress Community Center.
Bowers Museum “Horror of Dracula” showing – For $8 you can see the 1952 classic “Horror of Dracula” at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana.
The Empty Grave – In Anaheim is the Empty Grave Haunted House. It will be on from 7-10pm from Oct. 30th – Nov. 2nd and admission is $13.
Noche De Altares – All day free event in Santa Ana celebrating Dia de los Muertos!
Boot Hill Irvine – Come to the site of an old church and cemetery on Oct 30th from 7-10pm or the 31st from 6:30-9:30pm to visit some old spirits if you dare. Admission is free but donations are accepted and go towards the Children’s Hospital of Orange County.
