Camille Agers currently serves as the Program Coordinator for the Academic Resource Center & Disability Services. She joined the Vanguard community in March of 2023, focusing on supporting the administrative side of Disability Services. As of this semester, her role has shifted to overseeing Vanguard’s tutoring and Academic Success Coaching programs.
Camille attended Biola University, where she graduated with her BA in Christian Ministries in 2021. After participating in various student leadership positions during her undergraduate career, including serving as an RA for two years and interning with Biola’s Spiritual Development department, she gained an enthusiasm for higher education and student support.
She is passionate about cultivating inclusive spaces and has a heart for creating meaningful change.
Prior to working at Vanguard and amidst the pandemic, Camille worked for a nonprofit called CityTeam, which seeks to serve those experiencing homelessness, poverty, hunger, and addiction in San Jose, CA and several other cities around the country.Nearing the end of her first year at Vanguard, Camille is grateful for theĀ opportunities she has been given to come alongside Vanguard students and connect them with relevant and valuable resources to aid them in their academic journeys.
By helping set up accommodations for students with disabilities, working with students who are at risk academically, and pairing students with tutors and coaches, she hopes that her contributions to the Vanguard community will result in the flourishing of many students. She desires to equip students with the tools they need to succeed, at Vanguard and beyond.
