The Catalina parking lot on the main Vanguard University campus will be closed Saturday, Feb. 20 and Sunday, Feb. 21 due to construction. There will also be a water shutdown on Friday, Feb. 19 from 6:00am PST to 12:00pm PST.
Bruce Crouch, Vanguard University’s Director of Facility Services, announced the Catalina parking lot closure in a mass email and Titan HST notification sent Tuesday, Feb. 16. The parking lot closure is due to a slurry construction project, and the email urged that any questions be directed to Facilities.
Crouch sent a second email Tuesday, Feb. 16 stating that Mesa Water has scheduled repairs for Feb. 19 and water on campus will be shutdown in the following buildings:
- Gymnasium
- Kinesiology, Engineering, and Physics Buildings
- Laguna and Huntington Hall
- Lyceum Theater
- Scott Academic Center
- Social and Behavioral Sciences Buildings
- Waugh Student Center
Buildings which are not included in this list and will have water access are:
- Balboa Hall
- Catalina Hall
- Fine Arts Facilities
- Heath Academic Center
- Information Technology
- Needham Chapel
- Newport Hall
- O Cope Budge Library
- Smith Hall
