Tonight, The Mowgli’s––often called “the quintessential California band”––are playing in Santa Ana.
The 6 member band’s anthemic, indie-rock lifts a positive message with a punk, garage-band influence. They are working with producer Mike Green (All Time Low, Paramore) for the release of their third album due this fall.
The band’s message compliments their name which is based on a former band member’s dog and who was originally named from Rudyard Kipling’s character, Mowgli, from The Jungle Book. It shines with child-like imagination and reaches with an alternative angst that reminisce 90’s grunge.
Listeners who attend tonight will hear a great mix of their jams such as their newest single, “Freakin’ Me Out” or “I’m Good”––which was written for an anti-bullying campaign.
The show starts at 9pm at The Observatory in the Constellation room, Santa Ana.
