“Pit” Night Madness to Pump Up VU

The men’s basketball team is introducing Pitnight Madness to be held Wednesday night at 10:00pm in the Vanguard University gymnasium.

 The gymnasium is known to students and faculty as “The Pit” and will host the first ever Pitnight Madness. The name comes from a play off of what other universities call Midnight Madness, an event in mid-October that marks NCAA’s permit for formal basket practices to begin.

 The event is focused toward introducing both the men’s and women’s basketball teams as well as getting Vanguard excited for the upcoming season.

 There will be a variety of basketball competitions as well as a scrimmage and gear giveaways!
