Staff Feature: Priscilla Ziegler

Priscilla Ziegler, Vanguard University’s Educational Effectiveness Specialist, first joined the VU community in 2015. As an undergraduate student, she majored in Mathematics and Sociology, worked on campus in the Academic Resource Center and Office of Institutional Research, and served as a leader for several student groups.

In addition to her employment at Vanguard, Priscilla is currently earning her Master’s Degree in Sociology at California State University, Fullerton.

Her passion for learning motivates her pursuits in higher education and in conducting research. One aim of her research is to uncover new information that can be shared and implemented to bring positive change in society.

A lifelong mission of hers is to spread God’s love through honoring the stories of the marginalized by creating and sustaining spaces and resources voiced to be necessary to help people thrive. She plans to do so through continuing her higher education journey as a researcher and future professor.
