A Very Vanguard Christmas

The weather is cooling down, faint smells of peppermint begin to linger, and holiday festivities are quickly approaching. Students are getting excited as the semester comes closer to an end.

Christmas events are starting to hit the calendar, and there is one in particular that Vanguard University students, staff, faculty, alumni, friends, and family do not want to miss… 

A Very Vanguard Christmas is back again this year on December 2 starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Seymour building. This event is sure to get you feeling in the Christmas spirit with treats, music led by Vanguard’s worship collective, scripture reading, and more.

When asked about when the first Very Vanguard Christmas took place Julie Romero-Torres, Assistant Director of Advancement Operations, explained:

“Last year’s A Very Vanguard Christmas was the first one. A Very Vanguard Christmas came out of an idea to bring our community together in a meaningful way after being apart for so long due to Covid-19.  What better way than Christmas to unite our community? We aim to do the same this year – to provide a time of celebration, reflection, and, of course, joy in the true reason for this season.  This free, all-ages event is welcome to all.”

Gather with the community in a time of festive cheer and celebrate the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ. Let us see what is in store at this year’s A Very Vanguard Christmas!
