Although the beloved grill has officially left Vanguard’s campus, a variety of exciting new additions are underway.
Starting this month, the Caf will seek to satisfy student’s taste buds by supplying new tasty, seasonal coffee flavors. They will also be launching the “Smoothie Bar”, which will be open for breakfast during the school week. This station will provide Vanguard student’s with a yummy and healthy breakfast option!
This year, the Caf has decided to add a “Gluten Free” station located near the entrance. This tall, black cabinet houses many forms of Udi’s products that will be sure to excite even the weakest of gluten free taste buds.
Due to the amount of requests, the Bon Appetit staff has extended the hours of “The Wall”. Not only will it be open for lunch on weekdays, but also for dinner. At this station, you will be sure to find tasty snacks, sandwiches, wraps, and bistro salads.
The big grill has been permanently removed and has been replaced by another grill that will be open for lunch on Tuesdays and Fridays, as well as for dinner on Thursdays.
Heidi Balis, general manager of Bon Appetit, has also asked for the Vanguard students to continue to write comment cards. She claims that they have been the reason for many of the changes the Caf is undergoing.
So, whether you are a professor, on-campus resident, commuter, or a hungry member of the Costa Mesa community, stop on by and be sure to experience the new additions to the Caf.
