Here Comes the Snackdown

What happens when you mix Rob Dyrdek and food? “Snackdown,” a new reality competition show on MTV that will out your cooking skills to the test.

Snackdown, produced by Dyrdek, is out to seek the best snack maker and amateur chefs around Southern California who normally “wow” their roommates in the privacy of their apartment or dorms. All those midnight snack combinations that were created with ordinary ingredients, will now be more than just basic snacks to cure hunger.

The competition will put the contestants under fire for a series of challenges but only one will come out as the foodie champion. Contestants will be competing for cash prizes and the chance to have their recipes published in the Snackdown cookbook and will receive a golden spoon necklace keepsake.
