Both of the tennis teams are sporting winning records when it comes to GSAC, and both teams hover one match over the .500 mark. Eight of the nine wins for the women’s tennis team have come from GSAC competition, and the men’s team has seven wins in conference play.
Both teams will be matching up with Concordia on the road, on April 24, and a lot of hopes are riding on the match. After the match, the next time any tennis player will see action is in Nationals which will be held in Mobil, Alabama starting on May 15.
The women’s team has not won a lot of matches in a row, yet it manages never to lose many in a row either, which is why their record currently stands at 9-13 overall, which is not bad considering the level of play in which the team competes.
On the men’s side, the men have won three of their previous four matches in conference, and at one time won four matches in a row, only one of which was against league competition. Their overall record currently stands at 13-10, which is quite respectable because the teams in their league are some of the top ranked in the nation.
