Well folks, it gives me great sadness to confirm the rumors are true: Newspaper will be canceled starting next semester. This isn’t the only department affected by the recent “budget cuts,” although it’s the one that hurts me the most.
Newspaper had been there to watch all of us grow. It has been our public diary, and for more than a year. It’s been there to capture our best and worst moments: from articles that we only had one click on, to others that had over 400 views. I want to thank VU and The Voice staff for the best year and a half of my life. I hope all of our followers enjoyed our articles, and will continue to follow us on our own private blogs. If and when the Vanguard Voice gets reinstated, I hope the incoming juniors and seniors leave my blog as a legend. I expect someone to take my spot, and maybe change the name to something more catchy. Thank you all for the reads. This won’t be the end of me!
