A suspicious man was reported to be loitering two weeks ago in the church parking lot near Heath, looking into students’ cars and attempting to break in.
The man seemed to be under the influence of drugs or unstable mentally, according to Director of Campus Public Safety Kenton Ferrin.
“He said he was looking for his friends car…we contacted him and told him he can’t come back or he would be arrested. He returned, [and] we had him arrested,” Ferrin said.
The Crime Alert sent out to students included safety tips for students to know how to keep themselves and their valuables safe on campus, according to Ferrin.
If students ever notice something suspicious they should call Campus Public Safety immediately to report the incident, Ferrin said.
